Instructions
- (I make this in the microwave oven, but you can, of course, cook it on the stovetop.) Fry rice in a microwave-safe bowl, one minute at a time, until it starts to brown. Once browned, add the remaining ingredients, stir, and microwave on high for 10 minutes. Stir and cook for an additional 10 minutes. Let it rest for 5 minutes, check for tenderness, and cook 5 more minutes, if needed.
